Lagoon 2008

Here's some pictures from our trip to Lagoon amusement park in late summer 2008. It happened to be a cold, rainy day - but that didn't seem to dampen the fun!

These pictures are from our trip home to Vancouver, WA in October 2008 to celebrate Mom's birthday. It was the first time all the brothers have been together at the same time for many years. We had a great trip and all enjoyed the visit home with Mom, Dad, and Grandma Mallet.

Mt. Timpanogos - taken this morning from Lindon, UT. Nov. 3, 2008. The trail on the right side is the Lindon Heritage Trail. Adam has helped obtain several million in grant funding to continue construction of the trail towards Utah Lake.

Sharie took this picture this summer of one of the lakes up Payson canyon - only a few minutes from our home. We've hiked around here several times with the boys. Below are photos of us near the same lake in 2006.

Earlier this fall ('08) on a bike ride I went on during a lunch break with Woody (another planner in my office). Mt. Timpanogos above - up Provo canyon. Bridal Veil Falls below.

Happy Halloween! Picture from today of Adam, Sharie, Alex and Isaac coming to my office in Lindon. I had my groove on...wearing my "vote for planning" t-shirt. Sharie the purple witch, Alex as Batman, and Isaac as baby stuntman (he does his own stunts!).

Here's the before and after of Adam's broken thumb (bicycle wreck). Multiple breaks and fractures had to be pinned back together. See the two pins in the x-ray and the ends of the pins sticking out of his thumb (yellow tabs). The main pin was about 6 inches long. Ouch! We need to buy this guy a helmet.

The boys are doing great and enjoy being back in school. Isaac is growing fast and is obviously a big eater! We have certainly noticed that we will never have enough food on hand for our growing boys. :)
